David Waingarten
Writer, Producer, Director

As a senior in high school, David Waingarten spent 10 months shooting and editing a 90-minute historical documentary about a small town in upstate New York. He was hired by Ken Burns and Paul Barnes as Producer's Assistant on Not For Ourselves Alone: The Story of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony. While there, he wrote and directed a short horror film called Traffic. In 2001, he shot and edited Post, where a woman recounts her most haunting childhood memory. Post went on to play the Brooklyn International Film Festival and Worldwide Short Film Festival in Toronto.

Addison's Wall is his first feature. David lives in New York City.
